Traumatic Brain Injury Family Support Program

The Tennessee Department of Health has partnered with The Arc Davidson County & Greater Nashville to administer the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Targeted Family Support Program effective July 1, 2017. The intent of the statewide program is to benefit the individual with disability due to traumatic brain injury. This program will assist those individuals and their families to remain together in their homes and community. The program is modeled after the DIDD Family Support Program as described in the Family Support (TCA 33-5-201). The statewide program will enroll 119 individuals and grant a $2000.00 allocation per fiscal year. Persons currently enrolled in the ECF and CHOICES waivers are eligible to apply. One cannot be enrolled on both the Tennessee Family Support Program and the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Targeted Family Support.

Please refer interested individuals/families to The Arc Davidson County & Greater Nashville Traumatic Brain Injury family Support Coordinator Ms. Asia Corder. She will assist the individual/families with completing an intake and eligibility process.

Happy Holidays!!

Happy Holidays!!

Happy Holidays!!

Well, we are settled into our new location and loving it! It seems we are more centralized in this location and the bus stop is just at the entrance of the parking area.

With the upcoming holidays, we wanted to take a moment to wish everyone well and to thank you all for your patience as we learned a new payment system with the Sole cards. We are disappointed that things did not work out with the bank, but it was a learning experience for us all! For now, we are returning to a check reimbursement system. As before, checks may be picked up at the office on Fridays between 9AM and 12PM.

We would like to wish you a joyous holiday season!

Just a reminder, our offices will be closed from December 23-25, 2015 and again on January 1, 2016.
