The Arc Pickup Service

The Arc Pickup Service is the primary source of our non-governmental revenue, over $230,000 annually. The Arc contracts with J&I Advisory Support to employ telephone solicitors who ask for donations of discarded clothes and other items from households in Davidson and surrounding counties. J&I dispatches trucks to pick up the items, which are then sold to a thrift store company.

The Arc is paid for the sale of the donated items to the thrift store company and not by sales to the public.

Items donated to The Arc are sold in Davidson County at local thrift stores. All onations are fully tax deductible at fair market value.
